Michele Wang, Principal

Michele Wang is highly regarded by clients and peers for her ability to envision the big picture while paying sensitive attention to the infinite details that lead a project to success. From her background in the design of single and multi-family residences and environmental graphics for civic spaces, she brings more than 15 years of design experience to the firm's work in urban housing development, with an emphasis on student and affordable housing. As a principal, she provides leadership on design issues and has established standards of excellence that distinguish the consistently high quality of the firm's work.
Michele has designed and managed many of the firm's most innovative affordable housing projects-including the award-winning Denny Park Apartments, the Cate Apartments and the Borealis Apartments. Her extensive knowledge of building codes and construction procedures, together with her LEED® expertise, enables her to work with clients and contractors to use energy-efficient building techniques that make economic and environmental sense. From 2007 - 2011, Michele served as a member of the City of Seattle Design Review Board (Southeast District). She also serves as an occasional invited critic for architecture design studios at the University of Washington.
